March was nothing but an emotional rollercoaster for our team! Amid pressure from schoolwork and competition itself, the month presented a series of challenges that tested the very foundation of teamwork we had culminated throughout our project.

As the competition approached, we scurried to finalise our deliverables, navigating mounting pressures from our Project Manager! Tensions particularly ran high as late-night calls became routine, each one  driven by a shared commitment to self-improve while also strengthening our team cohesion along the way.

When it was time for the Grand Prix, however, disaster struck. In a single moment - a jarring “clunk” of metal - our car unexpectedly snapped right before we were about to race, an incident that could have cost us everything. What might have reduced morale and fractured our unity instead became a defining testament to who we are as Vielox. Rather than diverting blame, our members responded with composure and trust, recovering swiftly from what seemed like an  insurmountable setback.

In the end, after much anticipation, we are honored to be crowned Vietnam’s National Champions! Representing our mother nation on the world stage is both a privilege and responsibility which we will carry forward with resilience and profound national pride, while striving to share our culture with the global STEM community.

Equally, as we step into this next chapter, we extend our sincere gratitude to those who have supported us throughout this journey, and to one another. The friendships we built were not something we anticipated at the start. Yet, it was in these moments of uncertainty- the late nights, the setbacks at the Grand Prix - that we not only learned how to confront failure, but  how to face it together. And somehow, with these forged friendships,  these “low” movements made the “highs” feel even more meaningful. 

So, we leave our Nationals pursuit not just as champions, but as people who have grown alongside one another, excited to see where this bond will guide us next!
